Every management system and application has the ability to generate alerts. Most organizations have multiple applications and even multiple management systems. The result? Thousands of alerts every day. Many of them meaningless because they are purely informational duplicated or provide information that has already been communicated.

IT staff are often inundated with hundreds of alerts and messages from multiple sources every day. How do they sort through this mess and ensure that they are only handling the important ones? In reality, without the help of some form of automation, this is practically impossible. Suppressing some messages at the source helps somewhat, but doesn't ensure that the right messages are getting to the right people at the right time.

One request that we have repeatedly heard is the ability to attach a file to a notification. We are pleased to announce that as of the next release this feature is available in SNS++.
