Vision and Mission are very big words; you see them in many companies and organizations WEB sites and bulletin boards, I believe it is not just a slogan or something to put in your WEB site or bulletin boards for employees to see, there is no value if it does not come with a plan and a guidelines on how to try and it a reality.
For us at Highnet Systems, our Vision is: Become the preferred solution from technology, operation and business reasons by customers and our Mission is to: Provide systems that will enhance and improve the organization management and monitoring solutions making the combined solution more valuable, helping improve the organization IT Services and infrastructure. And be the customer trusted advisor.
To accomplish our mission and vision the first step is to bring true value to our customers, I sincerely believe that in order to achieve long term leadership the best and probably the only way is to provide genuine value to the customers. The first step in providing value to customers is to know what the pains and difficulties customers are facing, when customers see that you focus on solving their problems and satisfy their needs they consequently treat you as partner and grant you access to their information enabling your success which is of course their success – it must be a win-win situation
I believe that customers really know best, no one else is facing the problems, difficulties and challenges every day, and the smart thing is to be there with the customers, see their problems, get their requests and ideas and combined with our advance technological knowledge, experience, fresh view and will, we have the building blocks to accomplish our mission.
In one of my next BLOG entries I’ll specify on what we see as the building blocks of SNS++ (our Alerts and Notification management system) that will help us accomplish our vision and mission.
